If you’re really into plants, come on down to Forest City Brewery for the 8th annual Soil & Suds plant swap, hosted by Variegate & the A.I.O. Plant Sale.
There are different ways to participate, some of them free. There’ll be vendors to shop, offering rare plants, soil, clothing, pottery, botanical art, jewelry and macrame and raffles to benefit Thrive for Change, a Cleveland-based nonprofit that works for overdose harm reduction. They’ll be doing a demo on how to use Narcan from 2-2:30pm. There’ll also be a talk/demonstration on plant propagation, and plant and soil health from 1:30-2pm. All of that is free.
That’s warm-up for the plant swap from 3-3:30. There are different ways to participate. It’s $10 admission with plants to swap, $20 with no plants but they will provide you with two so you can swap.
