The tenth annual Drag Pride Showcase at the Beachland Ballroom, produced by “Cleveland’s tallest drag queen” Veranda L’Ni, featured ten performers who displayed the range of guises drag can take, from glam to bawdy to comical. It featured one of the area’s legacy performers, Melissa Ross, who began her drag career back in the 70s era of Twiggy’s, as well as new faces to local drag show stages such as Kellen who gives Veranda a run for her money in the height department. Other performers included drag kings Ryder Slowly and Jared Jamison, Cleveland Burlesque Queen Bella Sin, the very sassy Sassy Sascha, glamour puss Betty Abbodum, spooky Bram Stroke-Her and the forceful Ariyah Fuego who gave herself a money shower after collecting her tips from the audience.
