The 48th annual Lakewood Arts Festival took place as usual on the first Saturday in August, on a beautiful cool and sunny Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Over 165 artists were curated to exhibit their art, and the money raised from entry fees, donations and sponsorships goes to support a scholarship for a ocal high school graduate, a Lakewood high school graduate pursuing a degree in fine arts, plus grants awarded to local organizations offering arts programs for children and seniors in Lakewood. This year, grants were awarded to Lakewood High School Barnstormers and Photography Club, H2O (Help To Others), Lakewood Catholic Academy arts programs, The Barton Center senior arts activities, and the Beck Center for the Arts programs.
Three stages presented local music throughout the Festival, including Charles Mosbrook on guitar, the Andrew McManus Trio and the LB’s (Lonesome Bones), who are featured in this PHOTOSTREAM.
