Heights Arts Concert Offers a Close Encounter with Bach

Sun 7/13 @ 3PM

Heights Arts’ Close Encounters series, now finishing its 18th season, gives listeners the chance to hear classical music played by some of the area’s top musicians, including members of the Cleveland Orchestra, in an intimate setting at Dunham Tavern.

Last February, it had a scheduled concert featuring a string quartet performing J.S. Bach’s 1750 The Art of the Fugue Parts I and II, which had to be rescheduled. It features four Cleveland Orchestra members who call themselves the Blossom Quartet—violinists Stephen Tavani and Yun-Ting Lee, violist William Bender and cellist Dane Johansen, who is also the curator of the series.
