Cats! Love ’em or get lost. And millions upon millions of people love them as is evidenced by the popularity of the Cat Video Fest, a compilation of cat videos and feline internet memes submitted by cat lovers from around the world. It travels across the country for short stays in movie theaters from coast to coast—including Akron’s independent movie house, Nightlight Cinema where viewer will be treated to 75 minutes of undiluted cuteness. And a percentage of the proceeds at every screening go to local animal rescue groups and shelters.
The Cat Video Fest will be at Nightlight for two days with multiple screenings each day starting at 11:30am. And it is family-friendly so bring the kids. Yes, they may wear their cat ears! Get tickets here.
