Lebanese Festival in Parma Offers Food, Fun and Performances

Sat 6/28 @ noon-9PM

Sun 6/29 @ noon-7PM

One of the fun things about living in an area with so many different cultural groups is the opportunities to sample those diverse cultures (and all that great food!) By the end of summer we’ll be deluged in church ethnic festivals, but you can start right now by joining the Northern Ohio Lebanese American Association (NOLAA) at its 11th Annual Lebanese Food and Music Festival happening this summer in Parma.

Taking place at the picnic grove at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, the event features Lebanese food — a cuisine that’s become a lot more familiar in recent years with its hummus, shawarma and (yum!) tabouli — desserts such as baklava, Lebanese wine and beer, live music and other entertainment including belly dance performances, and kids’ games and activities.

Both admission and parking are free. Go here for more information.
