Comedian Mike Polk Jr and librarian John Skrtic make an entertaining team when they present one of their “Twisted Takes on Historical Cleveland Photos” programs at the Music Box Supper Club.

Skrtic, who is Chief of Collections at the Cleveland Public Libraries, provides the photos, digging up weird old photos from the library’s archives, some of which have never been seen before. Polk provides the background stories, which have little to do with the actual history behind the photos — they just emerge from the antic mind that’s fueled his career as a standup comedian and sketch comic.
