LGBT Center Hosts Queer the Halls Holiday Market

Sat 12/10 @ noon-6PM

Sun 12/11 @ noon-6PM

You can pretty much do all your holiday shopping this weekend in the Gordon Square Arts district, if you don’t get distracted by everything going on there. It’s Snow Day with a ton of activities in the Gordon Square neighborhood fanning out from its hub at West 65th and Detroit. And the gigantic Cleveland Bazaar is going on over at 78th Street Studios.

But there’s another market you should check out that will also have a lot of local artisan and artist vendors: Queer the Halls at the Cleveland LGBT Center. It’s going on Saturday AND Sunday and each day will have a slightly different mix of vendors, with about 40 each day. There’ll be a lot of LGBTQ+-related stuff, but also a lot of vendors with gifts appropriate for everyone (OK, maybe not your idiot cousin in Columbus who was protesting outside the drag queen story hour last weekend; he rates a lump of coal, for sure.)  The vendor list includes a lot of names we haven’t seen elsewhere so we’re thinking there’ll be some unique stuff. We checked out Stitched Peens and know we haven’t seen anything quite like that!

You can see the list yourself here. The market is free and open to all who support the human rights of everyone.
