Shop Local on Small Business Saturday by Dru Thompson

Supply shortages, post office delays and avoiding huge crowds are just a few great reasons to shop small this holiday season. Buying one-of-a-kind gifts while helping your community are a few more great reasons.

In between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is Small Business Saturday. Created in 2010, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.

The pandemic claimed over 70% of small businesses in 2020.  In retrospect, 31% of small-business owners who temporarily closed due to COVID attribute their reopening to customer support.

Are you looking for a few small businesses to support this year? Say less. Here is a list of a few places to show some love.
