Enjoy Family-Friendly Opera on the Dunham Tavern Grounds

Sat 8/28 @ 7PM

Cleveland Opera Theater was once Opera per Tutti and their Opera for All concert series continues that legacy of presenting opera in accessible programs in audience-friendly settings — for free.

They return to Dunham Tavern Museum on Saturday as part of the events surrounding the final day of the CLEVELAND WALLS! mural festival. Bring a picnic and a chair or blanket to enjoy some of opera’s “greatest hits,” sung by local and international artists on the pleasant outdoor grounds of the museum. Even if you’re not an opera buff you’ll likely recognize some of the tunes. And Oberlin Conservatory musicologist Charles Edward McGuire will on hand to emcee and share fun facts about the pieces being performed.

And while it’s free, any donations will go to support such free programming in the future.
