The Akron Art Museum may be closed again for now, but it’s still inviting the community to engage with it and participate in a program and exhibit called Akron Art Mail.
It invited regional writers and visual artists to decorate creative postcards, which it is displaying in one of its galleries. But it’s also asking the public to submit its own postcards, so of which will also go on display. In the meantime, it’s posting the submissions on its social media. And the complete exhibition will be made into a digital book you’ll be able to look at online.
