Fri 10/11 @ 7-9PM
Just Add Water, which opens at BAYarts Gallery Fri 10/11, features the work of two well-known northeast Ohio painters, Robert Hartshorn and Sharon Pomales.
While both artists are best known for their portraiture, for this one they’ve created bodies of work in acrylic, oil, pastel and, appropriately, watercolor, that feature “underwater scenes, mermaids and other sea life, lakes, streams, waterfalls, aquariums, scuba diving.” We’re told they’ll be working in some of what they do best in scenes that look at how humans relate to watery environments.
The show opens with a free, public reception Fri 10/11 @ 7-9pm and runs through Fri 11/8.
