Although several exhibits have already hosted opening receptions, the Cleveland Photo Fest, which features numerous shows throughout September and October at different spaces, sort of officially launches this week with its kick-off exhibition at the Good Goat Gallery in Lakewood.
The exhibit, called Cutting Edge, features the work of nine Cleveland photographers whose work is known for both its quality and its adventurousness.
They include Donald Black, Bruce Checefesky, Jennifer Gleason, Ben Hauser, Stephen Kasner, Kasumi, Tom Masaveg, Don Penn and Chad Michael Ward.
The work will be on view through 10/1. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday 1-5pm and Thursday 1-8pm.
