Akron singer/songwriter/guitarist Ryan Humbert is known for his strong original material and performances with his talented rock band as well as his solo singer/songwriter shows. But he’s also known for the special evenings he puts together to pay tribute to influential artists such as Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison.

One of those shows is “Walk Right Back: The Music of the Everly Brothers,” paying homage to the two harmonizing brothers who paved the way for those brothers in spirit, John Lennon and Paul McCartney. (They got along about as well too!) In it, he and his regular singing partner in many of his projects, Emily Bates, perform almost 30 Everly Brothers tunes, including some of their biggest hits of the ’50s such as “All I Have to Do Is Dream” and “When Will I Be Loved.”

They’ll be reprising the show at Jilly’s Music Room in Akron, where they’ll be backed by a three-piece band. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
