City Music Cleveland returns for its second concert series of the season, conducted by Stefan Willich (pictured). The ensemble, whose mission is to bring free classical music out to neighborhoods and suburbs and make it accessible to those who otherwise might not hear it, will perform a program of relatively familiar pieces: Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante, the winter section of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, the Spring in Buenos Aires section of The Four Seasons by legendary Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla and Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 aka “Jupiter.”

Soloists include violinist Miho Hashizume, cellist Sophie Benn, oboe player Eric Ohlsson and bassoonist Laura Koepke.

They’ll be at St. Noel’s Church in Willoughby Hills on Wed 12/9; at St. Mary Parish in Elyria on Thu 12/10; at Church of Gesu in University Heights on Fri 12/11; at Shrine of St. Stanislaus Church in Slavic Village on Sat 12/12 and at Lakewood Congregational Church on Sun 12/13. All concerts are, of course, free.
