Learn Pizzazz From British Burlesque Artist Peggy de Lune

Sat 3/2 @ 1PM

The highlight of last weekend’s “The Roxy Remembered” burlesque/variety show at the Beachland Ballroom was headliner Peggy de Lune from London, England. The svelte platinum-blonde performer exuded confidence, grace, wit and sass in her two routines. In one, she oozed the sensuous glamour of ’30s movie star; in the other, she portrayed a flirty, ditzy stewardess on a flight to Chicago.

Peggy’s sticking around Cleveland for a bit, and she’ll be offering a class for those who’d like to learn how to strut with aplomb. You may not have her background in theater, dance, and music, nor have a desire to take off any garments in public. But this class is for both performers and ordinary people who want to learn how to present themselves with more pizzazz. She’ll use one of her own routine to teach some basic moves and how to create a character — onstage or in real life.

The class is $30. Go here to sign up.
