Print Club of Cleveland Holds Its Annual Fine Print Fair at CMA

Fri 10/8 @ 10AM-6PM

Sat 10/9 @ 10AM-5PM

Sun 10/10 @ 10AM-5PM

The Print Club of Cleveland is an institution in Cleveland, founded in 1919 by wealthy donors to purchase prints for the Cleveland Museum of Art (including by major artists such as Picasso, Rembrandt and Durer), as well as to educate the public about printmaking through lecture programs and its annual Fine Print Fair. Initially the province of a limited number of wealthy men, the group has become more accessible to interested community members.

The Fine Print Fair, which takes place this weekend in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Atrium, is a good place to start. Following a Thursday Collectors Night, it’s open to the public for free Friday October 8-Sunday October 10. It will feature 15 high-quality dealers who will be offering prints and drawings across five centuries for a variety of prices for both beginners and experienced collectors, and sharing their knowledge with visitors. The event will also feature printmaking and papermaking demonstrations.

Masks are required in the Cleveland Museum of Art building.
