As Cleveland History Days draw to a close (Thursday June 26 is the final day), there’s an opportunity to see the city from the viewpoint of one of its core assets, its river. Take a cruise on a small boat called the eLCee2 with historical interpreter Doug Kusak. During the two-hour trip he’ll share stories about the river’s past and present. Of course you’ll hear about the legendary fires (which jumpstarted the environmental movement), its geography, its industry, its economic impact, its history, its surrounding watersheds and trails, modern reclamation efforts, and more. Get onboard at Merwin’s Wharf. Get tickets here.
