Thu 9/4-Sat 9/6
The Rubber City Jazz and Blues Festival returns this year for three days of music in a variety of venues around downtown Cleveland including BLU Jazz+, the, Akron Art Museum, Musica, the Mustill Store, Baxter’s Speakeasy, the Akron Library’s main branch downtown, and Lock 3.
The full schedule is daunting: the Akron Art Museum alone has two events. On Thursday September 4 from 5:30-8pm, Pulse and JT’s Electrik Blackout perform. And on Saturday September 6 from 1-8pm, the museum hosts a symposium in its auditorium and performances outdoors in its Susie and Bud Rogers Garden.
Both events are free, as are most of the other events scheduled. Go here for more information.
