The St. Clair Superior AsiaTown neighborhood is home to countless artist studios and creative businesses. Does anyone still remember when AsiaTown was also tagged “the Art Quarter”? That never really caught on but it’s teeming with artists.
There’s a chance to check out some of them when ArtSpace Cleveland hosts an artist open studios guided tour, making stops at various artist studios along E. 40th Street. Get on at Ariel International Center on E. 40th, and visit the work spaces of glass artists, woodworkers, painters and sculptors.
Among the places you’ll visit are EventWorks4D Hologram Theater and Studio at Ariel Center, the Thomas Frontini & Paula Izydorek Studio, Superior Hot Glass, Wilkes Loft Work Gallery, Benchmark Studios, Kyle Hawke Wood Sculpture Studio and the Studio Foundry. You’ll get refreshments too.
