Nostalgic Nebraska Folk Ensemble The Wildwoods Plays Riverdog Barn

Sat 7/29 @ 7:30PM

Omaha, Nebraska-based trio the Wildwoods are exactly the type of ensemble that audiences at Lorain County’s Riverdog Barn love, with their string-driven acoustic sound based in folk and Americana genres, and wistful songs about relationships, family, travel and nature.

Like so many folk/Americana groups, the Wildwoods centers on a married couple, guitarist Noah Gose and his violinist wife Chloe, plus bassist Andrew Vaggalis. They started to attract national attention with the release of their 2017 debut album, appropriately titled Sweet Nostalgia, which more or less captures the vibe of their all their music. It was followed by 2020’s Little Home and tours with acts such as the Way Down Wanderers and the Accidentals. Earlier this year they released a third album called Foxfield Saint John and again hit the road.

As usual, you can bring a picnic and cooler and enjoy a full-length evening under the stars. Get tickets here.
