There’s plenty of nature to be observed even at this cold, bleak time of year. Owls, for instance are wintry, nocturnal creatures whose presence is around us even in the dead of winter.
Join Lake Erie Nature and Science Center’s resident birding expert Tim Jasinski for an owl prowl, that begins with a program in the planetarium and fun owl-related activities, before heading out on a hke in the Huntington Reservation to try to track down some wild owls in their native habitat.
It’s suitable for all ages. It’s $8 for those 3 and over; free for little tots 2 and under.
