Founded in 1995, Good Company: A Vocal Ensemble is a chamber ensemble of men and women many of whom, while not necessarily professional singers, have extensive musical experience.

Founding director Karen Weaver passed away last spring, but the ensemble is moving forward to honor her legacy. The group will perform its winter concert “How Can I Keep From Singing?” at Lakewood Presbyterian Church under interim director Michael Carney. Accompanist Ruth Draper and oboist Bruce Biggin joining the ensemble as they perform music by Britten, Chatman, Duruflé, Larsen, Monteverdi, Szymko, Tavener and others — including Dolly Parton. It’s free; a free will offering will be taken.
