Cleveland Heights’ Wizbang Theatre is known for the wide range of eclectic and offbeat performers it presents. The Nocturnal Creatures Puppet Show, which arrives there on Saturday October 10, fits its aesthetic perfectly.
Its new show currently on the road is an oddball concoction called The Unsolved Mystery of Ms. Patsy Climbe. It features three puppets—a humanoid bat, a mysterious spider, and a cranky mouse—who travel to New Orleans to try to make a living as a band of street performers and get into a variety of absurd situations. The show features a new song called “Insomnia,” created by the humans behind the puppets, Omer Gal and Krystal Burns.
