Cleveland Independents, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, is an organization of locally owned, independent eateries who’ve banded together to promote themselves and encourage people to try the wide range of culinary offerings here instead of automatically going to some chain restaurant.
One of the ways they lure people into trying out something new is by their Cleveland Restaurant Week promotions, when members offer $39 fixed-price three-course dinners. Around 30 establishments are participating, ranging from steakhouses to vegan restaurants, traditional home-style Italian food to Brazilian cuisine.
