Western Reserve Herb Society Holds Herb Fair at Cleveland Botanical Garden

Sat 10/17 @ 10AM-3PM

The Western Reserve Herb Society is a locally based nonprofit that hosts programs to spread the word about the many benefits of herbs through educational programs and special events. Among other things, they maintain the herb garden at the Cleveland Botanical Gerden where you can browse the scented paths and admire the diversity, color and beauty of these plants which offer a multitude of culinary and medicinal uses as well.

You can learn more when they host their 79th annual Herb Fair at the Cleveland Botanical Garden, free with regular admission. Members will be on hand dispensing advice, showing off what they’ve created with herbs, and selling handcrafted herbal items, such as jams and jellies, teas, wreaths, baked goods, herbal mixes for cooking, potpourri and items such as note cards made with pressed flowers. Come check it out and meet some of the area’s most passionate herb gardens from 10am-3pm.
