The Current Year in Parma Hosts a Costume Bash

Sat 10/31 @ noon-8PM

The folks over at The Current Year, the record/physical media store in Parma adjacent to Rudy’s Strudel, just love to party. So they’ll throwing their Third Annual Halloween Costume Bash, taking place all day long.

Their special guest is writer Laura DeMarco who will be bringing her book Lost Cleveland and others of her history-related books to sell and sign. There will be a vendor village and food drive for Parma’s All Faiths Pantry, which serves housebound seniors in Parma. Bring donations!

Of course spooky music will be playing — “a monster mash of scary sounds all day long,” they promise — and there will be prizes for the best costumes. They also say they’re stocking up on horror films on DVD and VHS (!), monster movie vinyl and “Special psychotronic soundtracks,” if you want to pick up something to bring home to scare the kids trick or treating in your neighborhood this evening.

No admission — just put on that costume and come out. Rudy’s will be open of course to buy yourself an indulgent ethnic snack.
