If you like your summer outdoor arts festival less jam-packed and more community-oriented but still featuring high-quality artists and artisans, then the BAYarts Art & Music Festival, taking place on it beautiful Huntington Reservation campuse, may be just the event for you.
There will be more than 70 regional vendors, offering painting, prints, photos, sculpture, fiber arts and clothing, pottery, jewelry, body products, wood and glass art, and more, and there’s an orphan pottery sale in the ceramics studio. Nearly a dozen food vendors will have both lunchable offerings and snack-type food such as popcorn, donuts, ice cream, fudge and lemonade, as well as coffee. And yes, there’s live local music as well.
It’s free and family-friendly.
