Kids 8-18 Can Learn to Tell Their Stories Visually at Lake Erie Ink’s Comic Con

Thu 3/5-Sat 3/7

Lake Erie Ink’s annual Comic Con: Ink Your Story is back for the 14th year to give young people from ages 8-18 the opportunity to be creative in art and writing, learning how to tell their stories visually.

It includes workshops led by more than 20 professional artists, creators and graphic novelists including Terri Libenson, Fern Haight, Miguel Fernandez, 50*FiftyComix and Michelle Littlejohn.

It kicks off with a virtual drawing jam with Nickelodeon on March 5, followed by a party for aspiring teen artists on Friday March 6 with games, cosplay and artmaking. On Saturday March 7, there’s a full day of workshops at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Community Arts Center at the Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression. There young artists will have the opportunity to work with professionals, learn new skills and ask questions.
