This year’s orchid show at the Cleveland Botanical Garden opened February 14 and will be on view through April 5. Its theme this year is Orchid Rodeo, so there’s been a lot of wild west imagery and boot-scootin’ events.
But if it’s the orchids you’re going for, this weekend may be the best time to go because it’s when the Greater Cleveland Orchid Society hosts its show and sale. This is when you can talk face to face with people who really know their orchids and are passionate about them, and purchase orchids, potting materials and accessories from a variety of vendors, which getting a little free advice on how to help your orchids flourish. There’ll also be orchids and orchid-themed gifts, from magnets to scarves, including Orchid Rodeo merchandise, in CBG’s Garden Store. Then stop in Woodland Hall to see all the displays and vote for your favorite.
The show and sale are included with regular admission.
