Story Club Cleveland Wants to Hear About What Makes You Thirsty

Wed 2/11 @ 7PM

Story Club Cleveland returns to Forest City Brewing each month with a new theme to wrap the stories around. These themes are generally open-ended enough that storytellers can take them in a host of directions. For instance, this month’s theme is “thirsty.” What have you been thirsty for in your life? Or how did you deal with someone else’s thirst?

The format is simple. Each evening features a pair of guest storytellers, one invited by the organizer, the other the previous month’s audience choice storyteller. This month the former is Michael Pomeranz, the latter Jacob Rasmussen. The evening is rounded out by an open mic featuring four storytellers who came with a story and signed up to tell it (If more than four sign up, names are drawn from a hat.) Stories should be no longer than 1000 words or six minutes, and they must be true — no fiction allowed!

Sign up starts at 7; storytelling starts at 7:30. Forest City has a full bar and menu to enjoy while you listen. Get tickets here.
