Now in its 22nd season, Cleveland Burlesque has established certain shows returning annually as crowd favorite. One of those is its Sweetheart Ball, its annual Valentine’s Day show, which is back at the Beachland Ballroom for the 15th year with the theme “The Showgirl Overture.” Its theme is performances inspired by Broadway legends.
Like its other shows throughout the year, Sweetheart Burlesque will be packed with burlesque and drag performances featuring ingenious concepts, sinuous dancing, glittering costumes, dancing and flirty audience engagement. Cleveland burlesque founder/producer Bella Sin has been sharing on social media the prodigious amount of rhinestoning she’s been doing so expect some major sparkle! And she’s just one of what’s sure to be a cast of outstanding performers — most of them from right here in Northeast Ohio where a big burlesque talent pool has been growing.
The show is 90 minutes with an intermission when you can browse the vendors in the front hall and chat with other fans — and often, the performers.
