Cleveland Is Turning Ever Green

Irish duo Ever Green (Dan Sweeney & Colin McGowan) found themselves singing an Irish tune together on St. Patrick’s Day 2019, as one does. Dan had been in alternative bands like Super Collision and The 77s, but Colin had only sung in his car. But they gelled and vowed to work together, first a slew of Irish covers they could lead in sing-alongs at pubs, and eventually writing their own originals.

Now, they have two albums of original songs out, and they are one of the most in-demand Irish outfits in the region. (Speaking of outfits, check out the bowtie on Dan in this photo of that historic first collaboration).

For 2026, they “Up to 90,” or as busy as they can be, with gigs all over town in the weeks leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. Stream their music here, check out their full schedule here, and get more information on their site:
