The Cleveland Orchestra's Holiday Concert Is Back for a Dozen Performances

Sat 12/13, Sun 12/14, Wed 12/17, Thu 12/18, Fri 12/19, Sat 12/20, Sun 12/21

Severance Music Center will be alive with the sound of holiday music from Saturday December 13 through Sunday December 21 for a dozen pops concerts, both 2:30pm matinees and 7:30pm evening concert, celebrating the season and attacking poor helpless little Christmas carols with the firepower of an entire orchestra and chorus.

Conductor Sarah Hicks leads The Cleveland Orchestra and The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, along with soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth, with The Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus, The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus Chamber Ensemble, and The Wooster Chorus of The College of Wooster participating as well. Hundreds of musicians will fill the stage, along with holiday- themed lights and special effects. Soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth will join the musicians in offering this warm bath of upbeat, comforting music at a time when we’ve never needed it more. Don’t be surprised when you hear that familiar “ho ho ho!” coming from the stage. Bring the kids, wear your gay apparel and sing along. Get tickets here.
