There are those among us — the weather-hardy ones — whose outdoor activities aren’t stopped by cold and wind and snow.

If you’re one of these, put on the parka, wool hat, gloves and boots, and head out to Summit Metro Park’s Firestone Metro Park for a comfortably paced hike along the Willow Trail in the Tuscarawas Meadows Area. Join others for this 1.6 mile walk to enjoy nature stripped down to the bare bones which can often reveal things you can’t see in the summer. It’s free and open to all.
