See Cleveland Museum of Art’s Italian Fashion Exhibit at a “Sketch & Sip” Event

Wed 12/10 @ 6-8PM

You don’t want to miss Renaissance to Runway: The Enduring Italian Houses, the special exhibit currently on view at the Cleveland Museum of Art, through February 1, 2036. It’s a lavish display of fashion by Italian couturiers from the 20thand 21st century along with paintings and jewelry showing styles from the Italian Renaissance to show how they’re connected and how the latter was influenced by the former.

It’s open during all museum hours, but a really fun way to enjoy it is during a special “make and sip” event. It includes admission to the exhibit, plus wine, beer and snacks in the Ames Family Atrium, along with instruction in how to sketch clothing from fashion illustrator Joanne Arnett — design your own look or sketch something you loved in the show.
