Omni Quartet, Featuring Four Women Cleveland Orchestra Members, Returns to Heights Arts’ Close Encounters Series

Sun 11/16 @ 3PM

The Omni Quartet is no stranger to Heights Arts Close Encounters series, which presents chamber music in intimate settings. It’s performed frequently for this popular series. The quartet comprises four moonlighting members of the Cleveland Orchestra: violinists Amy Lee and Alicia Koelz, violist Joanna Patterson Zakany and cellist Tanya Ell.

Their program this time will open with Robert Schumann’s 1842 String Quartet No. 1 in A minor, followed by Felix Mendelssohn’s 1827 String Quartet No. 2 in A minor (replacing the earlier scheduled Beethoven Quartet No. 12).

While many of the Close Enciunters concerts take place in private homes, this one will take place at the Heights Theatre at Coventry Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard. Get tickets here.
