Paper-based artist Aimee Lee is one of this area’s outstanding world-class artists. With a specialty in Korean papermaking, the Oberlin graduate has won two Fulbright scholarships, taught and exhibited around the world (her work was included in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s stellar exhibit on Korean couture last year).
One of those Fulbrights was based on research on Korean papermaking tools. So it’ll be a special treat for papermaking buffs to join her for talk and tour at the Morgan Conservatory, Cleveland’s papermaking studio/gallery, on the subject of “as good as our tools,” an opportunity to learn from one of the best.
It’s free and open to all.
