Recently, one of the founders of the now-defunct Cleveland Photo Fest, Jim Szudy, created a new group called Photo Cleveland to provide opportunities for photographers to interact, learn and exhibit their work. It recently hosted its first show, titled Ghost Cities: Documenting Decay, at the Brownhoist. Now it’s put out a call for photos for mixed-media works for its second.
The show is called Nocturne and it will feature what its describes as “dark photos … creepy, spooky, ghostly etc.” It will open on October 18 @ 5-9pm at the Victoria Stanbridge Photography & Gallery located at 15707 Madison Avenue in Lakewood. That event will include a “spooky screening” and a live performance of “spooky” dark ambient noise music b ylocal group Nihil Omnia. The show will be on view through November 1.
