The Streetsboro Brew & BBQ Bash will again be taking place at Streetsboro City Park for a full day of gorging yourself on the output of the 17 grill magicians from all over Northeast Ohio, who will be competing for titles in five categories. A matching 17 craft breweries will be pouring to wash own all that BBQ. (There’ll be other food for those who don’t like BBQ, served by 15 food trucks.)
There’ll be special entertainment sure to keep the kids engaged, including bounce inflatables, the Foam Zone, Pure Passions Live Animals and Alpacas, Caricatures by Rob Hill, photo ops with “Lola Oink” pig and the Total Chaos Monster Truck, monster truck rides, games and more. Mom can browse the two dozen crafters offering their wares, and mom and dad can relive their misspent youths, listening to Detroit band The Hair Band Experience, playing all those Bon Jovi, Poison and Def Leppard faves from the 80s in full costume. Honestly, I hoped to never see those spandex pants again!
The event is admission-free.
