Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Summer Evenings Offer Cooking Lessons and Music

Thu 6/12 @ 6:30-7:30PM

Make the most of the long summer evenings before they’re gone. One place you can go is Cleveland Botanical Gardens, which celebrates Summer Nights @ CBG on Thursday evenings when admission is discounted after 5pm and it offers several special programs to enjoy.

One of their popular programs is Gourmets in the Garden, a handful of Thursday evenings when a noted local chef makes small bites and shares how to make them at home with local ingredients. It kicks off this week when Chef Eric Wells from Skye LaRae’s takes over the cooking. Future dates are July 3 (Chef Lee Negrelli from the vegan Rabbit Food food truck), July 24 (Chef Ryan Matthew Boone of Chips and Dip Hospitality), August 14 (Chef Ricky Smith from SomEthing Good Social Kitchen) AND September 4 (TBA).

The evening, when CBG is open late, also features music from 6:30-8:30pm by Afi Scruggs who’ll play keyboards and sing her original tunes, as well as music by artists such as Nina Simone and Al Green. There’s music every Thursday.
