Is your bike in working order for the season? If not, start hustling! Slow Roll Cleveland’s six-month season kicks off this week after last week’s original season opening ride was sidelined by thunderstorms.
Whether you’re a serious or casual cyclist, you’ll want to put these weekly rides, which run through October 27, on your calendar. Cyclists of all ages and levels of experience and skill will enjoy these comfortably paced, 10-mile rides that amble through a different Cleveland neighborhood each Monday — a great way to jumpstart your week.
Meet-up starts about 6; roll out is promptly at 7. All ages are welcome and encouraged to join. The ride’s “Squad” will lead the group and make sure everything rolls smoothly. Although they have people on hand to help with minor repairs, it’s good to make sure your bike is a shape beforehand. And don’t forget your helmet!
The delayed season opener rolls out from AsiaTown, from the parking lot at 3338 Payne Avenue. Pray for good weather! You can register ahead for the entire season here so you don’t have to fill out anything at the departure point. Find the full season schedule here.
