Where will all of Cleveland’s cat lovers be on the evening of Saturday May 17? At Waterloo Arts for the spring benefit for the Waterloo Alley Cat Project!
Now going on 15 years old, the WACP, founded by Blue Arrow Records owners Pete and Debbie Gulyas, has saved the lives of hundreds of cats as it neuters strays (estimate: about 400 over the years), finds home for friends ones and cares for feral ones in colonies in its North Collinwood neighborhood.
The free event features a whole bunch of raffle baskets with gifts ranging from booze to lottery tickets to stuff for your cat (this crowd tends to have quite a few, including ones they’ve adopted from WACP.) There’s a cash bar and a chance to make donations on a lot of stuff, as well as a 50/50 raffle. Best of all, it’s a great opportunity to hang out with other cat lovers and talk about your beloved pets. Get more info here.
