Wed 4/9 @ 5-7PM
The work of Roger Mastroianni is well known in Northeast Ohio. He’s the long-time photographer for the Cleveland Orchestra, as well as the Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre. He’s also done corporate-type work for area institutions such as hospitals and universities. His images comprise a vast array of Cleveland life and have been published in countless local, national and even international publications.
But, like many such photographers, he does his own fine artwork as well. His new show, The Long View of Cleveland: Capturing Time and Motion, features images, created by one-to-10-minutes exposures, of Cleveland landmarks and cityscapes, creating views of unusual depth. It will be on view at University Hospital’s Trudy Wiesenberger Gallery in the lobby of the Humphrey Building (11100 Euclid Avenue) from April 4-June 30.
There’ll be a formal opening reception on Wednesday April 9 @ 5-7pm. It’s free and open to the public. Go here to register.
