Cleveland Botanical Garden Show Looks at Healing Properties of Nature — and Art

Fri 4/4 @ 6-9PM

The Cleveland Botanical Garden will be opening a new exhibit this week that taps into the relationship between nature and mental and emotional health.

Called The Nature of Healing, it features the work of nearly two dozen artists from Northeast Ohio, curated by Deep Roots Experience, the arts organization located in the Fairfax neighborhood. In their work on display, these artists will depict how botanicals, flowers and other aspects of nature help to address feelings of loss and grief.

“Steeped in symbolism, the works unravel the interplay between trauma, mourning, and the restorative power of nature,” they tell us. “Ultimately, the exhibit invites viewers to reflect on nature’s role in navigating sorrow and emotional resilience.”

The show opens with a free reception on Friday April 4. You must register to attend. Go here.
