Although Covid made Thirsty Dog’s brewery tours a thing of the past, their future looks bright. This Akron-based brewing company’s restaurant offers a large selection of local craft beers on tap, sandwiches, burgers, pizza and even a vegan menu where you could order a BBQ pulled lion’s mane sandwich or maybe a pasta bowl complete with garlic bread.
Thirsty Dog is one of the oldest craft breweries in Ohio, opening way back in 1997, making it the Gen Z of Midwest beer establishments. Since then, the brand has become available in 12 states.
If you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop by, fill up your belly and sip on some Ohio-made, zoomer-aged beer, the Tap House is open Wed 4-9pm and Thur-Sat noon-10pm
