Stanislav Zabic (DJ Greentooth) arrived in the US in 1999, lived in New Orleans for a while and came to Cleveland in 2007. He’s been hosting Yugoslavian rock dance parties at the Beachland Ballroom and at the Slovenian National Home, where this event takes place. He also hosted some shows on the currently defunct WCSB radio station during Hungarian music hour.

The doors open at 5:30PM, and the show also includes a record cover art exhibit starting at 6PM. A Q&A with Zabic and DJ Beri follows, then a DJ dance party featuring Yugoslav rock bands doing originals or covers of popular Western rock music. The music comes from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia, but a lot of it will feel familiar.
