Highland Square’s yearly music festival PorchROKR is back to showcase the region’s best art and music with more than 150 performers in eight time slots starting at 11am, ranging from artists with who’ve been around, performed a lot and gotten some attention(Apostle Jones, Truss, Red Rose Panic, Da Land Brass Band, Brian Lisik, Detention, Esther Fitz, Rachel Roberts) to unknown and new bands who might be your next big discovery.
PorchROKR is also a day of community, bringing group engagements like Yoga, (which kicks things off from 9:30-10:30am), a 5k for Miller South School for the Performing Arts, and a guitar orchestra. Get to know your neighbors and enjoy dozens of food trucks, food tents, local vendors, a kids’ zone, and a diverse range of porch concerts.
