Gone since COVID, the Cedar Fairmount Summer Festival in Cleveland Heights is back again for an afternoon packed with activities that appeal to all ages.
There’ll be live music of course, with jump/swing/blues/rock ensemble Blue Lunch with their bigm danceable sound, plus Tony Quarles and the Discovery Band. There’ll be an artisan vendor fair, performances by Heights High music students and Wizbang circus performers, and lots of other things to see and do, including rides of the Euclid Beach Rocket Car and the City of Cleveland Water Buggy, the chance to meet a Cleveland Heights K9 officer (dog) and ogle a fire truck, local authors at Appletree Books, and yes, kids, there will be face painting, as well as a whole bunch of games for kids inside the Cleveland Heights Church. Various local organization and businesses will have information tables, and the area’s eateries and merchants will be have specials as well.
