The highlight of this month’s Walk All over Waterloo was the 12th annual DayGlo show at Waterloo Arts, where dozens of artists showed works to be viewed under black light with special glasses the gallery provides and visitors could make their own contribution to a DayGlo mural. Another highlight was the launch party for the spring issue of CAN Journal held at Framed Gallery, which was packed with artists and art-world people. Clare Feorene and Superbabes played at Praxis Fiber Workshop’s gallery where the African-American Quilt and Doll Guild’s show was still on display and painter Tessa LaBaron’s work was on view at Pop Life yoga studio.
